Homegrown Histories

Stories play a role in our lives from the moment we are born. 

 

We enthusiastically begin to share them as soon as we are old enough to put words together, reveling in the joy of self-expression. We listen closely, gaining perspective and making meaning, as our parents tell them to us.  We relay anecdotal moments to our friends and recount the happenings of the day with loved ones, creating community and connection and gaining self-knowledge and insights along the way.
